Experience with Trapshoot repair, transmitter/receiver replacement with garage door opener components ("I can now play the game from the end of my block, no joke!").  Arcade collector since 1990.

Mike has also provided a Gremlin Trapshoot tip for the day:  "If the game does not remove a credit at the end of a game (i.e. play infinitely on one quarter), it is more than likely corrosion on the coin box plug that plugs into the Trapshoot.  The coin box uses a double pole relay (why!?!) and both poles MUST be making good contact!  Since the game took credit just fine, I didn't consider looking at the connector.  I was all over the schematic looking at the decrement circuit, change parts, etc.  In the end, a little sandpaper to clean off the corrosion and the problem was fixed."

Thanks, Mike!
