Intrigue Games Baseball (Computer Logic Inc.)
The Intrigue Games differed from other wall games in that they offered a basic wall game with changeable display panels. The idea, of course, was that games could be rotated to coincide with the changing sports seasons, or as players tired of games.
The Baseball game, however, is not listed in the only Intrigue Games brochure in my collection. Therefore, I am uncertain whether it was merely a game panel released for the set, or a game separate from the convertible game set.
Our thanks to Joe Smith, who provided the photographs of this game from his collection, along with this description of game play:
To play, Babe bats first, then Casey. As you know, pressing the remote button begins the pitch. The batter starts his swing and you must release the button at the proper time for the most points. Depending on the timing, 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100 points are scored. Teams alternate turns. 900 points wins the game.
Our thanks to Joe Smith for providing these photographs of the game in his collection.
